Now as an historic building, and still on its original working site, The King Valley Kiln was converted from a tobacco curing kiln to our unique accommodation!
Sleeps one couple only in an upper level bedroom that has high pitched ceilings. This very spacious room has French doors that reveal an amazing picturesque landscape that changes with the seasons. The view can be seen from the comfort of your bed. From the balcony you have magnificent views of Power’s Lookout, the river red gums, the Black Ranges and grazing Angus cattle. This ‘Room with a View’ has an antique brass queen bed with a luxurious pillow topped mattress, and the crisp white linen add to the indulgence.
Downstairs is the lounge and dining room. All very cosy when the wood heater is going and very comfortable during the warmer months with Split System AC and ceiling fans. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and bathroom/laundry has a front loader. Fully self-contained.
The King Valley Kiln has been lovingly restored with recycled selected vintage timbers over 100 years old, giving an ambience of the old melded with the new. BBQ and outdoor setting.
The Farmhouse

Sleeps up to 8 in 4 bedrooms in a recently fully renovated, well appointed farmhouse. 2 bedrooms are queen rooms and the other 2 have 2 extra long singles that can be zipped together to create king sized beds. The house has 2 separate bathrooms for convenience.
The large open plan kitchen and dining room has a great modern country feel to it. Very well equipped once again for people who like to cook and eat in, with very clean lines and overall neutral tones. The Amana fridge has an ice maker!
Gas BBQ supplied as well with a hand made outdoor dining table setting. The lounge has a flat screen TV with inbuilt DVD player, corner chaise lounge and a Kent wood heater. The Farmhouse has also an 8 kw Split System Air Conditioner to keep you cool during hot summer days.
We have recently added a Bocce court in the half acre established block making this our very ‘Italian’ accommodation complete with a small fruit orchard that guests can eat and savour seasonally ripened fruit from. The King River is about 100 metres from the house with a picnic table and our own private swimming hole.
